Rev. Alan Jenkins is a Parish Associate at Oakhurst Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA, a Climate Reality Project Leader, and he was the first person in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to be ordained specifically for a ministry of creation care and eco-justice (2007). He studied at McCormick Theological Seminary before completing his Masters of Divinity at Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary, then a part of The Interdenominational Theological Center.
