Bianca Maria Esposito

Bianca Maria Esposito is a PhD Student in Cultures and Society of Contemporary Europe at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa (Italy). She is currently working under the direction of Prof. Roberto Esposito on a PhD thesis that involves a theological and political investigation of the concept of martyrdom in the modern period. Her research engages perspectives from philosophy, theology, politics, and Early Christian history. In particular, she focuses on the twentieth-century German debate over political theology and secularization.
