Jack David Eller is Head of Anthropology of Religion at the Global Center for Religion Research. He is a cultural anthropologist who has studied Australian Aboriginal religion as well as religious violence and secularism. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including Introducing Anthropology of Religion (Routledge), Cruel Creeds, Virtuous Violence: Religious Violence across Culture and History (Prometheus), and Trump and Political Theology (GCRR Press).
