Jason Chen is currently the Clinical Bioethics fellow at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He received his PhD in philosophy from Saint Louis University in 2019, an MA in political philosophy from the University of York in 2013, and a BA in politics from UC Santa Cruz in 2007.
It is consistent to say that everyone is equally intrinsically valuable by virtue of being human, and that death will deprive more future well-being from some. Focusing on the deprivation of future well-being will immediately bring up concerns.
