Rebecca Ruth Gould

Rebecca Ruth Gould is Professor, Islamic World and Comparative Literature, at the University of Birmingham, working at the intersections of literary, political, and legal theory. She is the author of Writers and Rebels: The Literature of Insurgency in the Caucasus (2016) and co-editor of The Routledge Handbook of Translation and Activism (2020) Prior to joining the University of Birmingham in 2017, Professor Gould taught at the University of Bristol and Yale-NUS College in Singapore.
