Sean Hannan

Sean Hannan is Assistant Professor in the Humanities at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His work at the University of Chicago dealt with the theme of belatedness in Augustine’s approach to time and history. His current research aims to bring Augustine into conversation with the philosophy of time in the Middle Ages, as well as with contemporary debates about temporality, pilgrimage, and the migrant experience.
