Wonchul Shin

Wonchul Shin is the managing editor of the Political Theology Network and Visiting Assistant Professor of Christian Ethics and Theology/Louisville Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia Theological Seminary. His research focuses on the issues of violence (e.g., structural, cultural, political, and gender violence) and marginalized communities’ practice of peacebuilding and political resistance. He is currently working on his book titled Resurrecting Virtues against Evil (under contract with Fortress Academic) that searches for an alternative virtue discourse of the oppressed embedded in their political resistance in the context of violence.
