Fidelis A. Olokunboro, Ph.D., is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at Villanova University, and a resident priest in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. His research interests include African Christianity/religions, philosophical theology, political theology, and poverty studies, contextualized in African, Latin American, and Western intellectual/theological traditions.
For African Political Theology to be Christian, African, and praxis-oriented, its concern must be Africans; Africans in a universal and “Afropolitan” sense, that is, all of those Africans gifted with God’s image, and as such, God’s children.
