Simone Kotva is Reader in Systematic Theology at the Department of Literature, History of Ideas and Religion, University of Gothenburg. Simone works at the intersection of Christian theology and Continental philosophy and theory. She is the author of Effort and Grace: On the Spiritual Exercise of Religion (Bloomsbury, 2020) and Ecologies of Ecstasy: Mysticism, Philosophy and Vegetal Life (Columbia, 20206).
