William is a Ph.D. student at Villanova University, and a full time faculty member within the religious studies department at St. Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia. His work focuses on Christian ethics and systematic theology. As part of his coursework and dissertation, William has sought to build upon the theological trajectories established in Pope Francis’s groundbreaking encyclical, Laudato si’, while also examining narratives and paradigms outside of traditional Christian sources that address humanity’s relationship with the natural world, particularly through the theme of vulnerability.
