Nur Yasemin Ural

Nur Yasemin Ural is a sociologist working at the intersection of anthropology, religious studies, and cultural studies. She is currently research associate at the French-German research center Centre Marc Bloch at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Her research explores affect, emotion, and religion in plural societies. She is co-author of the monograph The Politics of Affective Societies: An Interdisciplinary Essay (transcript, 2019) and co-editor of Affect and Emotion in Multi-Religious Secular Societies (Routledge, 2019).
