That’s what a Florida legislator suggested one might need to do, given that businesses are about the only thing now protected in the state. The most recent assault is the proposal working it’s way through the legislature which would strip tenure from the state’s community college faculty. This comes on top of proposals to gut the state’s affordable housing fund, control and raid the water management districts’ funds, and to allow private companies with existing schools who are well-performing to have additional charters without any vetting process.
And that’s only what has happened this week. Talk about social experimentation. They are completely undoing decades of progress.
Little wonder Rick Scott is now the least popular Governor in the US.
