Love what you read here at the PTN (or hate it and want to make it better)? The Political Theology Network is looking to hire a managing editor. The managing editor, with the support of the co-editors of the journal Political Theology and the steering committee of the PTN, will lead an an interdisciplinary editorial collective to curate and produce excellent conversation about topics pertinent to political theology.
The managing editor will be an organizer of people and content and will help to build the quality and density of relationships across the network. We are especially interested in applicants who have facility in convening racially, religiously, disciplinarily, and nationally diverse conversations. More details on the position are available here.
The managing editor will receive an annual stipend of $7,500. The position will require an average of 10 hours per week with periods of greater and lesser intensity for the term of the grant (until August 2021). The managing editor will have the opportunity to access travel funds for the American Academy of Religion, the PTN, and other guild conferences.
